Bunge - From Excel to one central data platform

Problem statement

The way of working lacked a stable foundation: important processes ran in Excel and a legacy system. This led to error-proneness and limited scalability, while the need for a user-friendly platform for researchers, traders and management only continued to grow.

Our solution

We developed AgroPulse as a central platform for trading data. Researchers, traders and management work together within it: from managing supply and demand data to monitoring balances, shipments and market developments, and consulting reports.

We delivered one platform for balances, shipments, line-ups, vessel tracking and reporting. Complex calculations have been translated into a stable data model, supported by flexible visualisations.

Dependency on Excel has been reduced through upload and inline editing functionality, complemented by workflows for approval and version control. Integrations with Snowflake, reporting tools and legacy systems such as Whiteboard ensure consistent data.
